      Hello Jon,

In the report, you can click "Save as" in the context menu in order to download the report file and store it on the local machine. Does this help?

      Thank you

When passing through login credentials I recommend to use a simple data source as it allows to mask your data: https://www.ranorex.com/help/latest/data-connectors/simple-data-table

This way your password is masked in the report. Keep in mind that the password is saved plaintext in the .rxtst file.

        Best regards

I am afraid I don't understand the original problem behind your idea. Different values for the same global parameter can be handed over to the test case by addressing the global parameter via the command line (e.g. /pa:globalParameterName="VALUE").

To better understand your problem, can you please describe your scenario? Thank you.

We’re happy to announce an early release of a license statistic tool. Please feel free to download the application and to provide us with feedback (pm@ranorex.com).

            Download: https://www.ranorex.com/download/LicenseStats_a3d6d6ac.zip
            Readme: https://www.ranorex.com/download/licensestats-readme.txt

Note: The download package has been replaced by a new one as there were some files missing in the old package (2018-03-01 3:30 PM, CET.)

@Wilco Rakhorst: please restart the service and clear the browser cache. After that is should work.

A new version of the license statistics tool is available! It shows the computer name and license type of the current user.

Kelly is right, applying a dark theme on SharpDevelop is kind of hard to do. But I can tell you, with Ranorex 8.0 we are moving closer to a dark theme.

I would like to better understand your use cases. Therefore I need to know if your Excel files do contain macros and formulars or if the are just static?

For static Excel files I recommend to use CSV, like Kelly suggested.

                Kind regards

                  Hello,

I would like to better understand the setup of your test environment/teams and what the actual problem is why you want to have multiple test suites in one project. Why don't you use multiple projects instead? If you split your project into multiple projects you will also experience less merge conflicts.

I really appreciate it if you could help me better understand your situation/feature request.

                  Kind regards,
                  Ranorex Product Management Team

                    Hello Naganand,

thank you for your valuable input. Are you aware of the code snippet provided in the user guide for validating entire tables? Please find the information here: https://www.ranorex.com/support/user-guide-20/code-examples.html#c8203
You can easily encapsulate this code method and make it available for non-developers in the recorder using the user code library feature. Please find more information here: https://www.ranorex.com/support/user-guide-20/user-code-library.html

                    Best regards

                      Hello Michael!

Thanks for passing us your ideas, please keep them coming!
How does the proposed change differ from the use of rooted folders in your repository? In case you didn't know about this functionality, please head over to our user guide (see link below), otherwise we're happy to listen to your explanation.

                        Hi Andreas,

Thank you very much for your input. What's exactly the reason why you would like to do this on a recording level, rather than on a test suite level? Later option would offer you data binding for different search terms as well.

                        Cheers,
                        Ranorex Product Management Team

                          Hello,

thank you for your valuable input.
Are you aware of the run configuration feature? A run configuration defines a set of test cases to be run. You can create unlimited different run configurations and also set it from the command line.

                          Best regards,
                          Ranorex product management team

Thank you for your input! The keyboard shortcuts in Ranorex Studio are as follows:
                            Close current view/Tab: Ctrl + F4
Switch between open views/tabs: Ctr + Tab

Are there any other keys you are missing in your day-to-day work?

                              Hi Daniel!
Thanks for the input. As explained in the other comments, the Click() action necessarily needs to move the cursor to the element in question before executing the actual click operation. Does the behavior described by you occur in every web browser or only in specific ones?
