Thank you for your input.
What are the exact features that you would want to have? What should this plugin’s functionality be?
The minimun requirement would probably be an easy-to-use repository in some way, but what would you need in addition to that?
We would appreciate some feedback on this.

Thank you all for bringing this to our attention. This topic is currently the number one topic in our User Voice. We are aware that our API documentation is far from perfect, and we see the value in improving it ourselves.
We are currently investigating the options we have for this API documentation. We are not sure yet about details like the format or the platform. Additionally, there are some parts of the API are not meant for public use and only enable Ranorex Studio to do specific things, etc.
This means, we are aware of the issue and we are trying to figure out how to tackle this best.

An error occurred while saving the comment Dear users,
I need your help to clarify this feature request, please!
Floating licenses should already be freed automatically when a user is idle or the machine gets locked (since Ranorex 6.0). The default idle time is 5 minutes.
In other words, if a user is idle for 5 minutes or locks their computer, the license is already released and free to take for another user.In order to make this work, you need to have the latest Ranorex License Manager running (at least >= 6.0).
Can you please provide feedback if the automatic release works for you? Thank you!
Best Regards,
Alex

An error occurred while saving the comment I’m not sure what you are referring to. All of these browsers are supported by Ranorex Studio, no matter whether they need an extension/addon to provide automation support or not.
(Note: For Firefox an extension is needed to enable automation; Edge does not need an extension.)

Currently we are investigating all possible use cases for this idea.
It would help us a lot if you could comment your project setup and how you are adding Ranorex to it. Thx a lot.Best regards
Ranorex Product ManagementAn error occurred while saving the comment Ranorex provides the option to copy all necessary DLLs to the output directory (Settings -> General -> Copy runtime to output). Like this, you don't have to add Ranorex libs manually.
Wouldn't this help you in your situation? -

An error occurred while saving the comment When passing through login credentials I recommend to use a simple data source as it allows to mask your data: https://www.ranorex.com/help/latest/data-connectors/simple-data-table
This way your password is masked in the report. Keep in mind that the password is saved plaintext in the .rxtst file.
Best regards

An error occurred while saving the comment I am afraid I don't understand the original problem behind your idea. Different values for the same global parameter can be handed over to the test case by addressing the global parameter via the command line (e.g. /pa:globalParameterName="VALUE").
To better understand your problem, can you please describe your scenario? Thank you.

An error occurred while saving the comment @Wilco Rakhorst: please restart the service and clear the browser cache. After that is should work.
A new version of the license statistics tool is available! It shows the computer name and license type of the current user.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Naganand,
thank you for your valuable input. Are you aware of the code snippet provided in the user guide for validating entire tables? Please find the information here: https://www.ranorex.com/support/user-guide-20/code-examples.html#c8203
You can easily encapsulate this code method and make it available for non-developers in the recorder using the user code library feature. Please find more information here: https://www.ranorex.com/support/user-guide-20/user-code-library.htmlBest regards
