Management Overview of Report content
Our reports are frequently sent to management. They usually complain that there is far too much content they are not interested in. They just need the “failed/success”, sometimes not even for each TC.
A setting would be nice which lets either the entire report be generated in a “management view”, or a live switch to “management” at the end of normal report creation.

The default report already shows the summary of the test case results as a pie chart.
If this is not enough, you can adapt the report by creating your own custom report template: https://www.ranorex.com/help/latest/lesson-8-reporting#Lesson8-Reporting-CreateaCustomReportTemplateCreateaCustomReportTemplate

You could create your own style sheet, or edit the one provided. Then ship them the failed only results, or the #run vs # failed, etc.
We have implemented our own report implementation... data is still written to the native XML report that you can read with report viewer, but also test session, test case and test step data is saved to a DB. With this, we can create any report we want

Currently to determine whether a test case has ever failed you have to either add code to store the verdict at the time of execution or go through old reports one by one. The ability to store all the results in a standardized out of the box solution would be super useful in identifying trends or finding detail on the "has this ever worked" question all testers hear from time to time.

I agree this would be very useful.
